COMMON QUESTIONS
Yes. Choose a window or entire screen in your browser’s sharing dialog. The recorder page must remain open while you work in the selected application.
Turn on tab/computer audio and select the audio-sharing checkbox in the browser’s dialog if offered. Available audio depends on your browser, computer and capture source. Microphone narration is a separate option.
Auto uses MP4 if your browser supports it, otherwise WebM. The format is shown before recording. WebM can be played in many browsers and media players. This tool does not perform server-side conversion.
This screen recorder is designed for desktop browsers. Use your phone’s built-in screen recorder when browser screen capture is unavailable. Camera and microphone permissions alone do not enable phone screen capture.
The recording stops. Browser-save mode keeps completed data chunks on this device for recovery, but the latest unsaved data may be lost and an interrupted file may not play in every player. Save directly to a file is recommended for long recordings in supported browsers.
